Police have arrested and charged eight men alleged to be involved in high-level street drug trafficking. The arrests come after a three-month investigation.

Members of the Edmonton Drug and Gang Enforcement (EDGE) Unit also seized more than three kilograms of cocaine, as well as a loaded handgun.

Police say the street value of the cocaine seized is approximately $300,000.

Tony Tran, 27, Peter Tran, 26, Kim Leaung Yoeun, 25, Phu Phan 25, Phoeung Nhem, 26, Sohka Tim, 26, and Vannhan Ros, 26, have been jointly charged with committing an offence for a criminal organization, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, production of a controlled substance, conspiracy to traffic a controlled substance, possession of a loaded restricted firearm and possession of property obtained by crime exceeding $5,000.

Graham Ross BRENNAN, 26, is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, production of a controlled substance, conspiracy to traffic a controlled substance, possession of a loaded restricted firearm and possession of property obtained by crime exceeding $5,000.
